There are estimated to be over 200 billion stars in the Milkay Way galaxy alone. How many of these could have planets? Here's an interesting analogy: Imagine that each star represents 1 mL of water. To put all of this water in one place, you would need at least 80 Olympic-sized swimming pools to hold all of this water(50 m long, 25 m wide). We are just one small mL of water in that enourmous amount of water. To assume that we are the only form of life is pure human arrogance at it's largest.
